CyG Class Navigator will help you to navigate in the vast data set that CyG exposes. Most of the classes (categories) are made available via links that bring you from one to the other class. But CyG can do more: by specifiying a 'starting' or 'top' class an outline like below can be generated on the fly to show you what to find. If you use the search feature you will see 'where' the object or class you are looking for is 'situated' in the universe. We limit the outline right now to one level at a time, but a future navigator will come along with a fully 4D (3D+timeline) visualization of the data set.

CyG dynamic lists

With : Country, Year, Movie, Thriller you get a list of thrillers grouped by country, then by year with the option to drag-and-drop Year before Country to have grouping by Year, then Country.

CyG 'understands' the possible outlines and comes up with the most logical ... Here it seems clear that we want to get a list of movies, that are thrillers and we want them grouped / sorted by country/year or year/country.

The movie list inside the group is sorted A...Z or by Date of Release.

A huge list of some 38400 movies and tv shows is now available with a wiki style guide and an imdb style guide ... the file is some 11MB in size and takes some time to download ... it contains a javascript filter engine to make it easy to filter what you want ...

We have added a raw list of som 2400 universities extracted using NLP from Wikipedia.

CyG_Movies on twitter now shows every 10th movie we assimilate from the IMDb database. We have already extracted some 50000 movies from wikipedia having a link to the IMDb site and will publish it in a couple of days as part of our movie guides... Stay tuned.

Today we publish some basic rules and inner workings of CyG ...

Every object has a ToO [Type of Object] attribute, which points oftenly to a class. A class object is of type CyValClass.

If it is suitable to make an object belonging to several classes, simply use the IsA property for any more classes; use the ToO for the main class.

What is CyG ?

What are the benefits of just another database?

CyG is assimilating all the contents from all available sources to make it available in unseen interfaces.

Can I communicate with CyG ?

Yes, if you enter your mySpace address for example, CyG then knows about you and will follow you.

Or, you can use CyG as a smart search engine or directory.

Can I use it like twitter?

Not yet, but we are working on something more organized than twitter with the option to fully integrate your tweets or other social network messages.

Right now you can add comments to movies only, e.g.: Funny People, G-Force, GoldenEye and all the other 400 000 movies in the database.
